Salary

R1 494 900 all-inclusive remuneration package per annum

Requirements

    • Grade 12 / Matric plus NQF 7 qualification in Property Management / Real Estate / Property Law / Property Valuation / BSc Property Studies (SAQA recognised)
    • 5 years senior managerial experience
    • Valid driver’s licence (except persons with disabilities)
    • Core competencies: strategic leadership, programme/project management, financial management, change management, knowledge management, service-delivery innovation, problem solving, people management, client orientation, communication, honesty & integrity

Duties

    • Manage acquisition & disposal of immovable assets (excluding leases)
    • Develop and enforce norms & standards for leases-in / leases-out province-wide
    • Maximise revenue from Government Immovable Assets via PPPs, rentals, arrear-recovery strategies
    • Negotiate, procure & conclude lease agreements in line with SCM processes
    • Oversee provincial Immovable Asset Register and GIS mapping services
    • Coordinate zoning, subdivision, consolidation, vesting of land
    • Manage municipal rates & taxes, landscape designs, prestige accommodation (Legislature & official residences)
    • Ensure corporate governance, budget execution, staff performance, capacity-building & disciplinary processes
