DEPUTY DIRECTOR: PLANNING AND PERFORMANCE

Salary

R896 436 – R1 055 958 per annum (all-inclusive)

Requirements

    Grade 12 plus National Diploma (NQF 6) or Bachelor’s Degree (NQF 7) in Business Management or Project Management or equivalent. Minimum 4 years’ experience of which 2 years on Assistant Director level or equivalent in project-management principles & methodology. Knowledge: business processes, policies & procedures.

Duties

    Project management in planning, monitoring & evaluation: consolidate NT projects in project register with M&E criteria, maintain document repository, generate executive dashboards, ensure quarterly/annual reporting, manage dashboards & communication tools, institute awareness & compliance on project PME, monitor/evaluate project progress against schedules, evaluate projects’ progress/impact quarterly/annually. Project planning: assist in developing APP to ensure large projects align to outcomes, develop divisional operational plans to align projects to outputs, develop chief-directorate operational plans to register/integrate projects, assist in quarterly/annual monitoring alignment. Project reporting: provide quarterly reports to management & audit committee, provide accessible information formats per knowledge-management practices, consolidate high-level project info, verify correctness with SPM&E process. Stakeholder engagement: provide inputs in developing customised frameworks, engage stakeholders on progress & advise improvements, liaise internally/externally on enhancing project planning/reporting/evaluation, coordinate feedback sessions on progress.
