Requirements

LLB or recognised 4-year legal qual; admitted Attorney/Advocate; ?5 yrs post-qual litigation/advisory exp; post-grad legal qual adv.; strong constitutional, admin & human-rights law exp; valid driver’s licence.

Duties

Provide preliminary opinions, certify Bills, advise on legislative drafting; scrutinise subordinate legislation & international agreements; render legal opinions to national departments.
